Comprising an 18 karat gold and black enamel lipstick case, signed Cartier, Lift Jean Patou, numbered 058, maker's marks, French assay marks; an 18 karat gold and red, blue and white enamel lipstick case, signed Cartier, Lift Jean Patou, numbered A-354; an 18 karat gold, platinum, diamond and black enamel rectangular compact, set with small rose-cut diamonds, the interior fitted with a mirror and compartment for powder, signed Cartier, Paris, Made in France, maker's marks, French assay marks; and an 18 karat gold, platinum, diamond and black enamel circular compact, the lid surmounted by a diamond-set Chinese pagoda, set with small rose-cut and baguette diamonds, the interior fitted with a mirror and compartment for powder, signed Cartier, Paris, Londres, New York, Made in France, numbered 01096, French assay mark, with black suede case.

Condition

Group consists of: BLACK ENAMEL LIPSTICK, measures 2 x 1/2 x 1/2 inches, 23 dwts. RED, BLUE AND WHITE ENAMEL LIPSTICK; measures 2 x 1/2 x 1/2 inches, 31 dwts. RECTANGULAR COMPACT; 2 x 1 3/4 x 5/8 inches, 52 dwts, interior fitted with a mirror (soiled and peeling), a powder screen and powder puff, diamonds are of decorative quality. ROUND COMPACT; measures 2 1/8 inches diameter and 1/2 inch thick. 49 dwts, diamonds of decorative quality. All pieces show signs of normal wear such as minor surface scratches but in overall good to very good condition given their age. Enamel in intact other than minor scratches.
