Designed as a female bust within a openwork frame accented by dragonfly wings applied with plique-à-jour enamel, the face composed of carved moonstone, the top and pendants set with old European-cut, old mine and rose-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.00 carat, the pearl drop measuring approximately 9.2 by 8.3 mm., the top set with pearls measuring approximately 5.5 and 4.8 to 4.3 mm., brooch fitting detachable, maker's mark for Louis Aucoc, French assay marks.

Carved moonstone with nice adularescence. Plique-a-jour with a few minor hairline cracks only visible under magnification but in overall very good condition. Pearls of creamy white bodycolor, lightly blemished and with good luster. Diamonds of approximately H to I color, VS to SI clarity with nice brilliance. Gold with oxidation and soiling in areas. In good condition.
