The square emerald-cut emerald weighing 16.93 carats, flanked by tapered baguette diamonds, size 5½, unsigned. With signed box.
Condition
Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 42210 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: insignificant. Also accompanied by a letter issued by Winston in 1980 confirming the sale of the ring to the current consignor's family in 1955 (the name of the family has been whited out). The emerald is a rich deep slightly bluish green color and is slightly; highly saturated and evenly colored throughout the stone. Minute chipping to a few of the facet junctions, otherwise with a very nice polish. The 6 tapered baguette-cut diamonds are approximately 1.10 cts, F-G color and VVS-VS clarity. In good condition.
