Centring on an oval sapphire within a shield-shaped mount set with calibré-cut sapphires, single- and circular-cut diamonds, size 53.

Condition

Please note that the ring is mounted in platinum and gold. Shank stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Central sapphire weighing approximately 5.40 carats dark blue strong saturation, typical inclusions visible under magnification, minor nicks and abrasion to facet junctions. For further information, please refer to the Gübelin report. Remaining sapphires good saturation, well matched in colour. Diamonds bright and lively. It appears that the ring could have been reshanked. Scratches to mount consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
