Diamond bracelet, 18th Century

Designed as a line of square links each set to the centre with variously cut diamonds, within borders of cushion-shaped smaller stones, in closed back silver mounts, length approximately 170mm, later clasp, adapted from a necklace.

Estimated total diamond weight approximately 22.00-24.00 carats, of mixed colours and clarities, generally I-K colour on average some with brown/yellow tint, estimated clarity VS-I. The reverse of each panel domed at the centre. Later clasp fittings. Scratches and discolouration to mount consistent with age and wear. Safety catch to side of clasp. Rare jewel, in good condition.
