Description
- Pearl platinum
Designed as a seed pearl necklace highlighted at intervals with geometric spacers set with baguette and single-cut diamonds suspending a detachable oval pendant centring on a natural pearl of grey tint, further set with baguette, oval, circular- and single-cut diamonds, inner circumference approximately 590mm, indistinct maker's marks, case.
Condition
Accompanied by the Gem & Pearl Laboratory certificate no. 04689, stating that the button-shaped pearl of iridescent light grey colour is a natural saltwater pearl, with no evidence of treatment.
Stamped with French assay marks for platinum. Indistinct maker's mark starting with the letter R possibly for Rubel. Central light grey natural pearl with good lustre, minor blemishes and overgrowth marks. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 10.00-12.00 carats in total, estimated colour H-J, estimated clarity VS-SI. Secure clasp with safety catch to side. Case signed Van Cleef & Arpels, Paris.
