Ruby and diamond parure

Comprising a necklace of geometric links set with oval and cushion-shaped rubies, baguette and brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 425mm; a bracelet similarly set, length approximately 180mm; a pair of pendent earrings, post and clip fittings, Italian assay marks, signed Marquise; and a ring, size 54; all mounted in gold.

Ruby of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Earrings stamped with Italian assay marks, signed Marquise. Rubies well matched in colour, with typical crystal inclusions visible under magnification, few scratches and nicks to the facet edges. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 50.00 - 55.00 carats, G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Clasps secure with safety catches. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use, minor discolouration but not apparent when worn, in good condition.
