Description

Designed as clusters of fancy coloured pear-, marquise- shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds, highlighted with cabochon emeralds, connected by bow motifs set with single- and brilliant-cut colourless diamonds, mounted in gold and platinum, clip fittings, signed Cartier Paris, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

It is understood that this pair of pendant earrings was formerly in the collection of Princess Emmeline Isabelle Edmée Séverine de Broglie, daughter of Daisy Fellowes. Accompanied by GIA report no. 2125301968 stating: One round brilliant diamond is Fancy to Fancy Deep Brownish Yellow, Natural Colour. One round brilliant diamond is Fancy Intense to Fancy Vivid Orangy Yellow, Natural Colour. One marquise-cut diamond is Fancy to Fancy Intense Orange, Natural Colour. One pear shaped diamond is Fancy to Fancy Deep Yellowish Orange, Natural Colour. One round brilliant diamond is Fancy to Fancy Deep Orangy Yellow, Natural Colour. One round brilliant diamond is Fancy Intense to Fancy Vivid Orangy Yellow, Natural Colour. One marquise-cut diamond is Fancy to Fancy Deep Yellowish Orange, Natural Colour. One pear shaped diamonds is Fancy to Fancy Deep Brown Yellow, Natural Colour. Please be advised that the colour grading was done as mounting permits observation. Stamped with French assay marks, OR 750 and PT 950 for 18 carat gold and platinum. Signed Cartier Paris with maker's marks. Emeralds with typical inclusions visible to naked eye and under magnification, some surface reaching. Diamonds weighing approximately 8.50 - 9.50 carats, estimated clarity VS, some SI. Strong clip fittings. Minor scratches to mount consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
