The wristwatch with an oval dial pavĂ©-set with single-cut diamonds, the articulated straps set with brilliant-cut diamonds, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, length approximately 170mm; the marquise-shaped ring set with baguette, tapered baguette and brilliant-cut diamonds, size 52; both mounted in gold, French assay and maker's marks, numbered, ring signed VCA, wristwatch indistinctly signed Van Cleef & Arpels.

Condition

Wristwatch: Stamped with French assay marks and 750 for 18 carat gold. Indistinctly signed Van Cleef and Arpels on the case, numbered Z2108Y1, 4350 and 307119, maker's mark G L on the clasp. Mechanical movement not in running condition at time of cataloguing, please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee future working condition of watches. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 5.00 carats, G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Clasp secure with safety catch. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use, in good condition. Ring: Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Signed VCA inside shank, numbered 29991, maker's mark A V. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 6.50 carats, G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Slight scratches to mount consistent with wear. In good condition.
