Emerald and diamond brooch, circa 1920

Centring on a claw-set circular-cut diamond weighing 9.83 carats, within a calibré-cut emerald star motif, further accented with single-cut diamonds, central diamond detaches to be worn on additional later emerald and diamond ring fitting, size 49½ with sizing beads.

Brooch mounting tested as platinum. Ring fitting stamped with 18 K for gold, Swedish assay marks. The central diamond weighing 9.83 carats is in our experts' opinion of O-P colour, VS+ clarity. Remaining diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use, in good condition.
