Comprising a circular mirror within a frame of twisted design, surmounted by a trefoil motif, the back engraved with a chevron pattern, maker's mark, numbered, signed Cartier, fitted case signed Cartier Paris; a ring set with a step-cut aquamarine to a fluted mount, size 44, partial French assay and maker's marks, numbered, signed Monture Cartier; a cigarette case engraved with a geometric pattern highlighted around the edge with single-cut diamonds, measuring approximately 87 x 74 x 8mm, a vanity case of matching design, opening to reveal a mirror and powder compartment, measuring approximately 87 x 58 x 10mm; and a lipstick holder engraved with the same pattern, the thumb piece set with brilliant-cut diamonds, measuring approximately 60 x 26 x 24mm, all three with French assay marks, numbered, signed Van Cleef & Arpels and accompanied by pouches.
Condition
Ring: Partial French assay mark for 18 carat gold. Signed Monture Cartier with partial maker's marks, numbered P5433. Aquamarine measuring approximately 21.24 x 14.07 x 10.27mm, estimated to weigh approximately 21.00 carats, medium blue, minor nicks and abrasions to facet edges. Scratches to band consistent with wear. In good condition.
Mirror: Signed Cartier Paris, partial maker's mark, numbered 05315133 on the reverse near handle. Mirror with discolouration in one small area. Metal slightly scratched in places from wear. In good condition.
Cigarette case: Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and platinum. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 66797 on the lid and 7306 inside rim. Diamonds bright and lively. Minor discolouration to the reverse. Normal signs of wear to the metal, in good condition.
Vanity case: Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels with maker's marks, numbered 69288 on the lid and 7753 inside the box. Diamonds bright and lively. Minor discolouration to the metal along the hinges and dent to back edge, as seen in catalogue image. Normal signs of use to the metal, in good condition.
Lipstick holder: Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels, further inscribed "Le Vanarp", numbered 71693. Diamonds bright and lively. Normal signs of wear to the metal, minor tarnish and scratches. In good condition.
