Description

Designed as a stylised flower, the petals set with cabochon turquoise, the bombé centre set with circular-cut rubies and a brilliant-cut diamond, smaller flowers around the edge similarly set, signed John Rubel Co, one small turquoise cabochon deficient.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US, this piece may contain rubies of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Signed John Rubel CO on brooch fitting. Rubies well matched in colour, with typical crystal inclusions visible under magnification, few scratches and nicks. Some turquoise with slight discolouration consistent with use. Diamonds bright and lively. Usual signs of wear to the metal. In good condition.
