Comprising a brooch designed as a bow suspending two articulated sprays of floral links each flower set to the centre with a circular-cut ruby, highlighted with single-cut diamonds; and a pair of ear clips of similar design, not articulated, clip fittings; all mounted in gold, signed Cartier Paris, partially numbered, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US, this piece may contain rubies of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold, brooch with marks for platinum. Signed Cartier Paris with maker's marks, brooch partially numbered ?0214, earrings partially numbered ?0544. Rubies purplish red, of varying saturations, slight abrasions to facet edges. Diamonds bright and lively. Strong clip fittings. Scratches to mount consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
