Description
Designed as a mabé pearl set to the back with a circular dial applied with blued steel hands and arabic numerals, within a border of single-cut diamonds, to an articulated surmount set with baguette and shield-shaped diamonds, on a fine link chain, length approximately 410mm, French assay marks, numbered, signed Mellerio Paris.
Condition
Stamped with French assay marks for platinum. Signed Mellerio Paris, numbered 696 M. Mechanical movement not in running condition at time of cataloguing, please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee future working condition of watches. Silver coloured dial slightly discoloured. Silvery white pearl measuring approximately 17.6 mm in diameter, with green and rosé overtones, medium lustre. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 5.00 carats, I-J colour, SI-I clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Clasp secure. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with age and use, in good condition.
