The lozenge-shaped dial applied with blued steel hands and roman numerals highlighted at the sides set with onyx, single-, circular-cut and pear-shaped diamonds, the clasp similarly set, to a bracelet of open work design set with seed pearls, length approximately 170mm, face signed Cartier and numbered, French assay marks.
Condition
Stamped with French assay marks for platinum. Dial signed Cartier, numbered 22733 and 15099. Case engraved on reverse "R.P. From R.T.P. 2nd, May 16th 1925". Movement in running condition at time of cataloguing, please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee future working condition of watches. Dial slightly discoloured from age. Diamonds bright and lively. Seed pearls of cream and silver tints, medium to high lustre. Onyx generally in good condition, one stone with minor chip. Clasp fitting secure. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use, in good condition.
