The cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 4.21 carats, to a mount set with brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in yellow gold, size 52, French assay marks.
Condition
Stamped with French assay marks and OR 750 for gold. The sapphire a blue hue with good saturation of colour, some minor typical crystal inclusions noticeable under magnification. Inscribed B 2.28 probably indicating the diamond weight, G-I colour, VS-SI clarity. Minor scratches to gold. In good condition.
