Description

  • yellow gold, coral, lapis lazuli
Of stylised foliate design, the carved coral leaf surmount suspending coral beads and cabochon lapis lazuli, accented with polished gold boules, signed Cartier Paris, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Coral, reddish orange colour, typical banding visible under magnification. Lapis lazuli a dark blue, pyrite inclusions visible to naked eye. Lower section of jewel is articulated. Pin fitting with. Slightly scratched to mount consistent with wear. In very good condition. Accompanied by Cartier case.
