Description

  • pink tourmaline, jadeite and seed pearls
  • Tourmaline approximately 49.05 x 45.13 x 13.00mm; and bead approximately 8.98mm.
The translucent tourmaline of rich pink colour, carved with a tiger, suspended from a cord strung with seed pearls and a green jadeite bead.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the carved pink tourmaline is transparent, of medium, intense purple-pink colour. Upon transmitted lighting or close look, there are clouds and crystal inclusions. Jadeite bead is semi-translucent, of mottled apple green colour. Seed pearls are cream white. Condition: The carved tourmaline pendant dated Qing Dynasty, with interesting carving, in good condition.
