Condition
Colour and Clarity: Accompanied by Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory report stating that the carved jadeite "double-gourd" is natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the carved jadeite is translucent, of bright and intense emerald green colour. Upon transmitted lighting, there are cloud inclusions, which are very common to natural jadeite. The heart-shaped diamond on the same pin weighing approximately 0.35 to 0.40 carat, is about I colour, VS1 clarity. Emeralds and sapphires on the other "owl" brooch are strong and saturated green and blue colours respectively, eye clean and lively. Round and tapered diamonds are about G to I colours; marquise diamonds are I to K colours, overall of VS clarity.
Condition: This two brooches are offered without reserve. Slight discolouration to the metal on the "owl" brooch. Signs of wear to both brooches, otherwise both in good condition.
