Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the rubelite drops on necklace and earrings are well-matching, of very strong, raspberry red colour, very clean to naked eyes. Upon 10x loupe, there are only some minor natural inclusions, not noticeable even upon loupe check. Diamonds are about E to F colours, VVS to VS clarity. Both necklace and earrings are signed Tiffany & Co. France, and numbered.
Conditon: Platinum mounts, all in very good condition.

Rubellite is a member of the family of tourmalines, and its colour glitters in beautiful nuances in the range from red to shocking pink. Exhibiting a deep intense red colour, absent of any tinges of brown, rubellite is the most valuable of tourmalines. Rubellites of high clarity and intense colour are extremely rare and exceptional. The rubellites suspending from this diamond necklace are all of uniform colour and have no visible inclusions to the naked eye. To be able to find nine rubellites whose intense colour, shape and clarity are so well matched is a tribute to Tiffany's and their pursuit towards perfectionism and producing only the highest quality jewelry.
