Condition

Colour and Clarity: According to a British gem report, a random sample of three pearls examined was found to be natural. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the pearls are button to off-round, of cream colour with rosè overtone, mostly good to very good lustre. This brooch is from the Collection of H.R.H. The Princess Margaret , Courtess of Snowdon, originally a gift presented on the occassion of her wedding to Mr. Antony Armstrong-Jones on 6th May 1960, accompanied by a certificate issued by Kensington Palace. Stamped with royal mark "M", 'crown' for HRH The Princess Margaret. Condition: Repair mark on one of the tassels and signs of surface abrasions to the metal, commensurating with age, overall in good condition.
