Centring on a pear-shaped cabochon rubellite weighing approximately 45.45 carats, to a stylised mount set with fancy-shaped rose-cut and faceted coloured briolette sapphires of pink, yellow and green hue, decorated by brilliant-cut diamonds, the coloured sapphires and diamonds together weighing approximately 28.40 and 3.00 carats respectively, mounted in 18 karat white and blackened gold.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the cabochon rubelite is of strong, rapsberry red colour, eye clean. Upon 10x loupe, there are fingerprint and crystal inclusions, not noticeable to naked eyes. Coloured sapphires are of various hues, including medium to strong yellow and orangy yellow, medium light greyish green, medium to intense purplish pink colours; generally eye clean. Diamonds are about J to K colours, VS clarity.
Condition: Karat white gold mount, in very good condition.
