Description
- ruby, sapphire, diamond, gold
Each modelled as a peony, the first brooch highlighted by circular-cut rubies together weighing approximately 2.00 carats, framed by circular-cut diamonds, signed and numbered 6306; the second brooch similarly set with circular-cut sapphires together weighing approximately 1.70 carats, within a circular-cut diamond frame, signed and numbered 50114; mounted in 14 karat yellow gold.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the rubies are strong red colour, sapphires of medium intense blue colour, both are eye clean. Upon 10x loupe, there are surface abrasions on the stones, commensurating with age. Diamonds are about G to H colours, VS clarity. Both are signed and numbered, but the numbers are partially rubbed.
Condition: Vintage karat gold mounts, have signs of wear and minor surface scratches to the metal, otherwise in good condition.
