Description
- Platinum, jadeite, diamond
- Cabochons approximately 16.75 x 6.55 x 3.96mm and 16.60 x 6.60 x 3.90mm respectively.
Centring on a circular-cut diamond weighing approximately 1.70 carats, amid an openwork surround set with circular-cut and baguette diamonds together weighing approximately 11.50 carats, highlighted on each end by a marquise-shaped jadeite cabochon of fine translucent emerald green colour, mounted in platinum, detachable to form two clips.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate, the marquise-shaped jadeite cabochons are natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the jadeite cabochons are matching, of medium bright colour with very good translucency. Upon illumination, there are cloud inclusions, which are very common to natural jadeites. The largest circular diamond in the middle weighing approximately 1.70 carats, is about I to J colour, VS clarity. Other diamonds are probably H to J colours, mostly VS clarity. Generally, there are surface abrasions to the diamonds and the jadeite cabochons have surface scratches, commensurating with its age.
Conditon: Art Deco brooch, wear and surface abrasions to the mount, otherwise in good condition.
