Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the illustration fails to fully convey the textured surface in the original. Condition: This work is very good condition. There are two fine and stable networks of craquelure in the thick impasto: one to the upper centre of the work and the other to the lower centre of it, both visible in the catalogue illustration. There is artist's varnish which has slightly yellowed over time. No restoration is apparent under ultraviolet light.
