Elégante édition bilingue dont la traduction en prose fut donnée la première fois en 1729 (3 volumes in-12) par Dupré de Saint-Maur. Cette publication ouvrit à son instigateur les portes de l'Académie française en 1733. Les bibliographes s'accordent pour rendre la paternité de cette traduction à l'abbé de Boismorand.
