There is evidence of scattered inpainting throughout the work especially a 3 in. line in the upper left corner, a 1 1/2 in. round section with dotted retouches covering up paint losses and a 1 in. section in the center right 1 in. from the right edge. Also visible under normal light is a 4 in. vertical line of retouching in the center of the piece 4 in. from the bottom. The surface appears to be in stable condition.
