Condition

This painting is stretched on its original stretcher. The original texture is well preserved and the paint layer is stable. The artist has employed a series of techniques, including scratching and texture application, all of which are clearly visible and in good state. There are no restorations, despite the fact that the upper left edge and upper right edge show some colors very strongly under ultraviolet light. This condition report has been provided courtesy of Simon Parkes Art Conservation.
In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report.
