Condition

The paper is laid down on board and there is slight rubbing to the edges of the paper. There is a small tear and loss along the upper half of the right edge. In addition, there is a small tear to the lower half along the left edge. There is a faint scratch to the uppermost part of the building in the center of the paper and a diagonal line, possibly rubbing, extending up and left from the sombrero. There are two possible water spots, on in the upper part of the doorway and the other in the uppermost part of the building. There are two faint marks near the left soldier's feet. There is a faint mark in the drapery object in the foreground. Overall the colors are vibrant and the work appears to be in very good condition.
