- tourmaline, sapphire, peridot and diamond and white gold
Designed as a stylised flower, set to the centre with an oval tourmaline, the petals pavé-set with circular-cut sapphires of various tints, peridot and highlighted with brilliant-cut diamonds, size L½, signed Elke Burr Creations, maker's marks.
Condition
Stamped 750 for 18 carats white gold. Tourmaline medium strong greenish blue, natural inclusions such as needles visible under magnification. Tourmalines with such intense colour and strong saturation are often called 'Paraiba' in the trade. Sapphires medium light blue, well matched. Pink sapphires medium purplish pink, different saturations. Peridots medium strong yellowish green, well matched. Diamonds bright and lively. Very light scratches to mount consistent with wear. In good condition.
