Description

  • Carving approximately 76.38 x 109.46 x 24.86mm.
The semi-translucent jadeite of bright apple green colour, carved to the centre with the god of longevity (壽星公), riding on a deer within surrounds of pine trees and cranes (松鶴延年), surrounded by five lads carrying fruit of the fabulous tree, Pan-Tao, a gourd and his cane, symbolising immortality and good health.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: According to the Jadeite Jade Testing certificate, the jadeite carving is natural, Type A jadeite. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the carved jadeite is translucent, of medium soft green colour. Upon close look, there are white cloud inclusions and some greyish patches. Condition: This carved ornament is offered without reserve. Detailed carving with auspicious meaning "Fortune and Longevity", in very good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment.
