JADEITE 'PANDA' AND DIAMOND PENDANT NECKLACE

The semi-translucent jadeite of deep green colour, finely carved as a panda aside a bamboo tree, surmounted by a brilliant-cut diamond-set ball, completed by a jadeite bead necklace of matching colour and good translucency, mounted in 18 karat white gold, length approximately 600mm.

Colour and Clarity: According to the Jadeite Jade Testing certificate, the carved jadeite "Panda" is natural, Type A jadeite. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the jadeite "Panda" is semi-translucent, of deep forest green tone, very similar to black jade. Upon strong transmitted light, the deep forest green colour appears brighter emerald green tone. Diamonds are generally of I to J colour, VS to SI clarity, together weighing approximately 1.35 carats. Condition: Whimsical jewellery of fine carftmanship, in very good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment.
