Description

  • Ceramic
with foliate-shaped rim, freely carved to the interior with a large lotus flower, applied with a creamy-white glaze; together with: a shallow ding-type dish with molded design of crested birds, Jin dynasty (2)

Condition

The carved dish has been broken into six pieces and restored and has a small 1/8 in. rim chip. The molded dish has numerous stained hair cracks around the rim and an area of stained cracks on the cavetto.
