Condition

Both panels are in good overall condition. Both panels have been drilled beneath for mounting. Panel with deer-headed figures: Losses to extremeties of both figures including front horn and muzzle of left figure and its right thumb and minor damage to the fingers. Minor loss to right foot on right figure and loss of leading horn. Traces of earth encrustation overall. Minor losses overall. Panel with demon-headed figures: Loss to the lower edge including part of the left and right foot of the right hand figure. Loss to the bottom edge of skirt and to the tip of the trident in the figure's hand. The nose of the demon on the right and the dresses of both figures have been restored. Loss to the tip of the right ear and eyebrows of right hand figure. On the left-hand figure there is a loss to the tip of the ritual implement and lower border of the skirt and losses to the bottom of the feet. Earth encrustation overall and minor chips and losses throughout.
