Condition

The paper has been laid down on paperboard. There are some bumps and nicks to the paperboard along all four edges. The sheet appears to actually be two seperate sheets that have been laid down, as there is an obvious break in the center of the work through the subject's shoulders. The picture surface is in generally good condition aside from surface dirt and light staining throughout. Under UV, there are a few minor areas of inpainting scattered in the background and there are a few small areas - near the subject's eyes and along her collar - where the paper shows between brush strokes.
