This work is oil on paper laid down on canvas.
The picture surface is in generally good condition aside from some minor scattered craquelure. There is a small slit to the canvas 2 inches long and 1/2 inch above the lower edge but there is no associated paint loss. Under UV, there are no apparent signs of inpainting.
