  • 9.5 cm.
  • Conceived before 1901, 12 unnumbered copies were cast by the Georges Rudier foundry between 1962 and 1965. This example cast in 1964.
According to a letter from Cécile Goldscheider, Conservateur du Musée Rodin, dated July 30, 1964, this bronze is eight of an edition of 12 and listed under inventory no. 1.754.

Condition

This bronze is mounted on a 2-inch square black marble base (3/4 in. in height). The bronze is in generally good condition with a shiny patina and a small amount of dust and dirt.
