Condition

Canvas is lined and its surface is slightly dirty. Under UV light: there are scattered places of inpainting throughout the composition, most notably in a 4 by 3 in. area at the upper right corner and along the left and right edges. There is a possible 1 by 1 in. repair at the lower right of the canvas, just below the depicted tree. Despite this inpainting, the painting hangs beautifully and the work is in good condition overall.
