Condition

Canvas is lined. The present work is a fragment cut from a larger canvas of studies by the artist. Surface is clean with a few very thin cracks visible in the figure's cheek. Under UV light: an uneven varnish layer fluoresces, but no inpainting is apparent. Overall the work is in very good condition.
