Condition

Canvas is strip-lined and placed on a new stretcher. Some thin areas of cracking are visible. One 3-inch repaired tear visible on the reverse of the canvas near the right handle of the sugarbowl in the image. Additionally, one 1-inch repaired tear, also visible on the reverse, present near upper right corner. Under UV light: numerous strokes of inpainting at the right edge, probably added to address prior losses due to frame rubbing. Scattered pin dot retouches along area above lower edge. Large strokes of inpainting near upper left corner and at center of top edge. More strokes on right side of sugar bowl and near upper right corner to address afforementioned repaired tears. Otherwise fine; work is in generally good condition.
