Condition
Canvas is not lined. Minor pigment shrinkage is evident in black bands in the left half of the composition, as well as in the dark brown at the left of the composition and in the figure's black hair. Under UV light: a varnish layer is difficult to read through, but no inpainting is apparent. Overall the work is in very good condition.
