Condition
Canvas is not lined. Surface is covered with a layer of varnish. Under UV light: a layer of varnish is difficult to read through; however, there appear to be retouched areas at the bottom edge of the canvas, as well as at the upper right edge, at the upper left edge, and at the center of the top edge. All retouches are presumably present to address prior frame abrasion. Two bands of pooling varnish cross the top of the canvas and fluoresce, but no other inpainting is apparent. Overall the work is in very good condition.
