Condition
Canvas is lined. A thin web of craquelure is visible throughout the sky. The surface of the work remains textured and lively. Under UV light: a thick varnish is somewhat difficult to read through, but a few scattered strokes of retouching are visible at the lower left corner to address prior frame abrasion. Some original pigments fluoresce. It does not appear that there is further extensive retouching. Overall the work is in very good condition.
