Condition

The canvas is not lined and the edges have been reinforced with tape. There is a thick layer of varnish on the surface. There is visible frame abrasion at the upper right and lower right corners. Under UV light: pin dots of uneven varnish fluoresce throughout the composition and the varnish layer is somewhat difficult to read through. There are strokes of inpainting at the top edge of the upper left corner as well as along the right edge to address frame abrasion. Some other pigments fluoresce throughout but are likely original. Otherwise fine, the work is in good condition.
