Condition

The canvas is not lined but is impregnated with glue. There is a thick layer of varnish on the surface. Under UV light: The thick varnish layer is somewhat difficult to read through and areas of uneven varnish fluoresce throughout the composition. There is a one-inch vertical line of inpainting at the center of the bottom edge. There is also a small stroke at the extreme lower right corner. There is a nailhead sized spot of inpainting at the center of the right edge of the vase, and another pin dot retouch four inches above this. There may be a few possible strokes of inpainting at the extreme left and right edges due to prior frame abrasion but these are minimal. Otherwise fine, good condition.
