Condition
Canvas is lined. Under UV light: scattered spots fluoresce, mostly around perimeter of work, with larger spots at upper left corner, to right of sitter's face, in sitter's right sleeve and at center of bottom edge. These spots are possibly inpainting though they also correspond to areas of lost varnish visible to the naked eye in raking light. Work is in good condition.
