Condition
The canvas is lined. The work has been cleaned. There are some thin lines of craquelure which run vertically through the fruit basket. When examined under UV light a number of these very thin hairline cracks show restoration: several lines fluoresce in the fruit to the furthest right and in the basket, and there are several other small retouches on the lower edge.
Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the colours appear warmer and more vibrant in the original and the greens on the background are brighter with more yellow.
