Condition
This canvas is unlined. Some thin craquelure in the dark brown pigment on the lower left, a few other thin cracks on the yellow square upper right. Some minor dots of surface soiling mostly confined to the lower half. These specks of surface dirt appear to have been splashed on the surface (perhaps as a varnish) and fluoresce under the UV light, but no restoration is apparent. The work would benefit from a gentle cleaning.
Colour: The tones are richer and deeper in the original than in the catalogue illustration.
