Condition

This work is in very good condition. The canvas is unlined. There are two tiny specks of loss: one near the upper left corner and the other near upper right corner of the red square. The paint layer retains a rich impasto and the surface is very slightly dirty, especially along the upper edge, most likely due to frame abrasion. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light. The colors are livelier and more saturated in person than in the catalogue.
