Condition

Executed on laid paper and laid down in several spots near upper and lower edges to the mount. The sheet may be slightly time darkened. The medium is very fresh and the figures and the white area in the top half have a shiny surface which may indicate gum arabic. Overall in very good condition. Colours Slightly richer and more nuanced than in the catalogue illustration, and the white tones have more yellow to them.
